Originally this was an acoustic song from a BillMike solo CD on tornado alley records. Now it lives on in a much louder manner. I had written this about a guy I used to know named Joe, who lived in a broken van in some one's back yard on Lawn Ave (a crazy street in and of itself). This guy played some of the meanest blues I ever heard, and he could put down a bottle like it wasn't nobody's business. Hopefully he's still kickin'... Norm Tischler put a killer horn part down for us, too.
